Behind the Scenes
First visit to the ‘Taj’
Exploring the ‘post apocalyptic’ Taj Mahal Hotel and Casino for the first time. As inspiration strikes in real-time, PT imagines what he might do with what he can take.
From AC to NYC
‘Artifacts’ from the Taj Mahal start to arrive in PT’s Tribeca studio and an exhibition starts to take shape.
PT Returns to the Taj
Revisiting the Taj with an eye on what would become ‘The Sinking of the Taj Mahal’ on the beach at the Faena Hotel.
The Taj Chandelier
The centerpiece of the show - a 15 foot chandelier, hung ceiling to floor. It arrived in Wynwood in upwards of 75 unlabeled cardboard boxes, and required careful assembly piece by piece.
